History of Use: Dragon’s Blood has been used medicinally and as a varnish, an incense, and a dye since ancient times. It is mentioned as early as the 1st century in ancient Roman texts. Medicianally, it was used across the Mediterranean basin and in Asia to as a cure-all. It was used to treat diarrhea and fever and as a general remedy for gastro-intestinal issues. Topically, it was used to heal wounds, due to its anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.
